Social and Cross-Cultural Skills Artifact:
In my OGL 350 Diversity and Organizations course, I had the opportunity to compose the showcased social and cross-cultural skills artifact. The goal of this artifact was to showcase my ability to interact with individuals from different cultures and backgrounds. For this project, I chose to focus on an individual who identifies as belonging to the Honduran culture, which is significantly different from my own. Throughout the project, I was able to reflect on my own biases and assumptions about the Honduran culture, and how they may impact my interactions with individuals from that culture. I also had the chance to learn more about the Honduran culture and its values, beliefs, and customs. This project was an eye-opening experience for me. It allowed me to develop my social and cross-cultural skills, and to better understand the importance of cultural competence in today's diverse workplaces. In this article, I will introduce my Social and Cross-Cultural Skills artifact, and share some of the key insights and takeaways that I gained from this project.

Reflection:
As I pursue my Organizational Leadership degree at Arizona State University, I have come to realize the importance of cross-cultural and social skills in today's diverse workplace. In the globalized world, businesses are increasingly operating across borders and cultures, making it essential for leaders like me to possess cross-cultural skills that help effectively manage teams and work with clients from different backgrounds. Social skills are also important in organizational leadership as they are essential for effective communication, collaboration, and conflict resolution. Possessing strong social skills, I can build trust, foster positive relationships, and motivate team members to work towards common goals. As an aspiring organizational leader, I do recognize the importance of developing both cross-cultural and social skills to succeed in today's diverse workplace. With these skills, I can effectively manage diverse teams, build strong relationships with clients, and ultimately drive organizational success.
One of the most valuable lessons I have learned is the importance of cross-cultural and social skills. Although I was an online student, I have had the chance to work with and intertwine with individuals from different social scenes and cultures throughout the college. With these interactions, my comprehension and admiration for diverse perspectives and cultures have been enhanced. This has helped me to develop my communication and interpersonal skills, which I believe will be essential in my future career and personal life. My experiences through various courses and extracurricular activities have taught me how to navigate cultural differences and work collaboratively with individuals from diverse backgrounds. These skills have been invaluable in my personal and professional life and have helped me build strong relationships with people from all walks of life.
